Escape diverted to Idaho due to mechanical issue
A Boise Airport presenter tells KTVB-TV with the intention of the MD-80 landed safely next to the Idaho airport. Officials say the trip stopped within Boise because a precaution for the reason that of a low-oil indicator light. Airline spokesman Matt Miller says an further American Airlines aircraft was brought to Boise from Los Angeles to pick up passengers and take them to Seattle. Officials say the airline as well sent equipment from L.A. to fix the jet.
