Call for abstracts
The Scientific Committee welcomes the submission of abstracts for oral and poster presentation at the 10th Asia Pacific Congress on Deafness [APCD2009]. Accepted abstracts will be published in the abstract book, given to all delegates attending the Congress in Bangkok.
The presenting author must register for the Congress and pay the registration fee when submitting the abstract. If the abstract is not accepted, the registration fee is refundable.
Abstracts should be submitted via email to abstract@apcd2009.org The abstract summission deadline has been extend to 31st March 2009
Guidelines for abstract preparation
- Abstract must be written in English using MS Word only.
- Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
- Single line spacing
- Abstracts should be organized as follows:
- Title (must be typed in CAPITAL letter)
- Author (Last name, First name)
- Give full name of every author
- Underlining the presenting author
- Institute
- Content must not exceed 500 words and arrange as follows:
- Objective(s)
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusion
- Abstract category
- Write out the full term for each abbreviation at its first use
- It is the author's responsibility to submit a correct abstract; any spelling, grammar, or scientific fact will be reproduced as typed by the author
- Specify type of presentation (oral or poster)
